ALBERTVILLE, Ala. — A woman allegedly involved in multiple vehicle purse thefts shot herself as police officers arrived to arrest her, according to neighbors who witnessed the incident.
The suspect, who had been released from Marshall County Jail approximately two months prior and was reportedly still under probation supervision, turned a gun on herself as officers attempted to take her into custody on theft charges, witnesses said.
Police broke through a window to reach the woman, who was subsequently airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. Her condition remains unknown…
