Tyshaun Dominique Darnell Hampton, 23, of Huntsville, was arrested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The arrest followed a search by the Huntsville Police Department and U.S. Marshals. Hampton was wanted for murder and first-degree assault. The charges are related to a shooting on September 16, 2024, on Binford Drive. The incident resulted in the death of 25-year-old Caleb Troy Martin of Decatur and injured another man.
Police say Hampton became involved in a dispute between Martin and another person. He then shot both men. Warrants were issued for Hampton on September 17, 2024.
