HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) – A new addition to Huntsville dining has been added downtown, The Local.
The Local opened on November 10 and it is the latest concept from the Mercado Group is now open offering sandwiches, salads, and lunchtime favorites.
The menu comes from Chef Luke Hawke, who says the dishes draw heavily from family influences and Southern roots.
“The Local is about familiarity,” Hawke said. “This menu reflects family, roots, and locale… what I’ve learned from family, what we do in the South, and other complexities that create a fun, interesting, and approachable establishment.”…
