LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Limestone County District 1 commissioner Daryl Sammet died on Saturday, county officials said on Sunday.
In a statement posted to Facebook, the Limestone County Commission paid tribute to Sammet.
“Not only was he a respected Limestone County Commission member, but he was also a loyal friend and mentor,” the Limestone County Commission said. “Sammet was exemplary in his fight. He fought the fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith.”…
