HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Botanical Garden, in cooperation with Autism Support of Alabama, is offering two sensory hour opportunities as part of the new features of Galaxy of Lights.
Sensory Hours will be this Sunday and Dec. 3 at 4:30 p.m. Anyone can choose to attend at this time, but these time slots are specially designated for guests with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the magic in a more comfortable setting. Regular operations will resume at 6 p.m. on those nights.
“Introducing sensory friendly hours for Galaxy of Lights is another step in our commitment to accessibility and inclusion,” said Botanical Garden CEO Susan L. Wagner. “By creating a calmer, more intentional environment, we’re ensuring that all members of our community can connect with the beauty, joy, and magic of the season in a way that feels comfortable and welcoming.”…
