OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. — A backyard railway wonderland is returning to Owens Cross Roads this weekend as the Grant Funk Railroad opens its holiday display to the public.
Grant and Jenny Sweer will welcome visitors Friday through Sunday to experience their meticulously crafted outdoor model train layout, transformed into a Christmas spectacle complete with miniature decorated homes, tiny trees, and festive details throughout the sprawling backyard attraction.
