HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (BFMG) — One year after the abduction of Ronald “Ronnie” Dumas Jr. on December 15, 2024, his family, friends, and the broader community continue their fight for answers, justice, and Ronnie’s return. As the painful anniversary approaches, the Dumas family is calling on the Huntsville community to gather together in unity, compassion, and unwavering hope.
A Community Candlelight Prayer Vigil will be held to honor Ronnie’s life and the tireless perseverance of his family, who have spent the past year searching, advocating, and praying for his safe recovery. Organizers say the vigil is designed to offer a space for reflection, healing, and community strength while keeping Ronnie’s name and story alive.
“This gathering is a reminder to the world that Ronnie is still out there, and we will not stop fighting for him,” the family shared. “Hope has carried us through this year, and the support of the community continues to give us strength.”…
