Huntsville police officer charged with kidnapping and burglary fired, two facing other charges resign

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville police officer charged with kidnapping and burglary charges has been fired and two others facing charges have resigned.

A spokesperson with the department told News 19 that Brandon O’Field was fired.

O’Field was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping and first-degree burglary on Nov. 27. A spokesperson for HPD originally said he was placed on leave from the department following the incident, pending investigation…
