HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville family is still looking for answers one year after their “superman” was hit by a truck in front of their Hobbs Island Road home. This comes as police tell News 19 that they need help from the public in order to solve the case.
“This is going to be a case solved by the public’s help,” Investigator Jeremy Woods with the Huntsville Police Department said.
Two adults, three children dead after house fire in Lawrence County
The incident happened on December 12, 2024, on Hobbs Island Road around 5:00 p.m. HPD said Timmy Beason was helping a delivery driver unload something from a truck outside of his home when a pickup truck driving down the road hit Beason. HPD said the driver did not stop, and they are still working to identify them.
Shortly after the incident, HPD released a few surveillance photos of the truck they believe to be involved in the incident.
Investigator Woods described the truck as a “’90s model Chevy Silverado Pickup Truck.” He said it is “two-tone in color and looked like a vehicle that was used in construction.”…
