Economic experts weigh in on Eli Lilly coming to the Rocket City

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Eli Lilly CEO announced Tuesday that the company will bring a $6 billion project to the Rocket City — a move he says could generate about four times the economic impact for North Alabama.

Dr. Ege Can, an economics professor at UAH, said Tuesday afternoon’s announcement will create more spending and that spending will become other people’s income.
