HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A man convicted of killing Huntsville Police Department STAC Agent Billy Clardy II is asking an appeals court to overturn his conviction.
Attorneys for Lajeromeny Brown argued in Montgomery on Tuesday that jurors were not properly instructed on self-defense and heat-of-passion manslaughter, claiming Brown believed he was being ambushed during what he thought was a drug deal.
