‘We’ve been looking for 47 years:’ North Alabama woman ramps up search for former foster child

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — For some, a life’s wish is extravagant, but for Terry Nayman, it is simply to know that a former foster child of hers is happy.

“When she smiled, her eyes smiled,” Nayman said as she looked at a portrait. It is the only photograph she has of Kami. She was four months old at the time of the picture. She’s kept it for 47 years now.

“She was born in Huntsville Hospital on August the 10th, 1978” Naman said. “She came to live with us when she was four days old.”

Her daughters, Robyn Brumlow and Stephanie McDaniel, were six and 12 years old at the time…
