Huntsville Police release car break-in numbers for first week of December

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department has released its car break-in statistics for the first week of December, giving residents a clearer look at recent property crime activity across the city.

According to HPD, officers have worked 13 vehicle break-ins between December 1st and December 7th. The department told News 19 that 11 of those vehicles were left unlocked, which is 85% that thieves took notice of.
