MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — For News 19’s Student of the Week, our Ellie Byrd headed over to Horizon Elementary in Madison to visit the cutest and maybe the smartest 4th grader, Ellie said she’s ever met! Ivy Causey is not only killing it academically, but she’s making so many friends and brightening everyone’s day at her school.
Her teachers tell us she is beyond deserving of this award. “Ivy is a student in my fourth-grade classroom here at Horizon, and I was actually her third-grade teacher last year, and I moved up with her, so I’ve known Ivy for a year and a half. She is a sweet, sweet child. When I first think of Ivy, I think of her creativity.”
