MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WHNT) — The defense team for former Decatur Police Officer Mac Marquette has filed another motion asking to continue his murder trial, court documents show.
According to the document, Marquette has requested that the start of his trial be pushed back following the Alabama Supreme Court’s granting his request for oral arguments in an appeal, which are scheduled for Jan. 28.
