Dumas Disappearance: Police investigation continues, complicated by two-state pursuit

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — In February, there was a major break in the Ronald Dumas Jr. case, with the Huntsville Police Department announcing he was abducted and five suspects were wanted.

News 19 has learned that early on, police had a strong sense of what happened, but the trail has not been simple to follow.

The five named were Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, Quintarius Shikelion White, Toure Laron McLaurin, Kierra Symone Clark and Carissa Cash. All of the suspects were from Memphis, except Chambers, who is from Huntsville.

In April, two of the five, Kierra Clark and Quintarius White, were arrested in Memphis. Clark was transferred to Madison County in July. White has opposed extradition, which means Alabama’s governor had to write to Tennessee’s governor asking for his transfer…
