No one injured in house fire in Harvest

HARVEST, Ala (WHNT) — Harvest Volunteer Fire Department said no one was injured Tuesday as crews used 20,000 gallons of water to fight a house fire.

HVFD said around 3:55 p.m., fire crews were paged to a structure fire in the 4200 block of Old Railroad Bed Road.

The fire department said the first crews on the scene reported heavy fire showing from a single-family residential structure. HVFD said members stretched hoselines and began attacking the fire to prevent it from spreading to several vehicles around the house.

The department said around 20,000 gallons of water were used while fighting the fire. No injuries were reported…
