THE HILL | Alabama A&M University former women’s soccer standout Jasmine Perez-Acosta has taken the next step in her playing career, signing a professional contract with Peninsula Power FC in Australia, the club announced.
Perez-Acosta capped off her collegiate career by earning Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Midfielder of the Year honors. Known for her composure on the ball, high work rate, and ability to control the tempo of matches, she emerged as one of the most influential midfielders in the conference. Her leadership and consistency in the center of the park played a vital role in Alabama A&M’s success.
