HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Christmas may be over, but shelter animals across the Tennessee Valley are still waiting for their second chance at finding a loving home.
A New Leash on Life, a local animal welfare organization, is helping ease overcrowding at municipal shelters by taking in dogs and cats and working to place them in permanent homes.
