Huntsville’s Stadium Commons to add retail and restaurant over coming weeks

HUNTSVILLE — As Hattie B’s heats up local appetites, five more businesses will be joining the roster at Stadium Commons.

The commercial development adjacent to Joe Davis Stadium is adding four retailers and a  restaurant from Huntsville’s Power Brands Hospitality, according to Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate.

“We’re thrilled to announce the addition of these thoughtfully curated concepts opening throughout phase one,” said Wesley Crunkleton, principal at Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate. “We continue to research the best retailers and restaurants that will fill the gaps of what our city is currently missing.”

The new businesses

  • Ferren Boutique is a “destination for fashion forward gals-on-the-go, seeking sophisticated and elegant clothing.”
  • Free People, a specialty women’s clothing brand, is the destination for bohemian fashion that features the latest trends and vintage collections for women who live free through fashion, art, music, and travel.
  • Free People Movement features performance-ready activewear, practice-perfect styles, and beyond-the-gym staples.
  • VSL Nail Spa offers luxury spa experiences and other services include nail care, waxing, foot massages, and eyelash extensions.
  • Juniper’s Kitchen is the latest serving from Power Brands, which brought Melt, Prohibition, Five Guys and others to the area. Juniper’s Kitchen will feature a stylish, light-filled bar with exposed brick walls and will serve dishes cooked over a wood-fired grill.

The businesses are slated to open on a rolling basis through next May, with additional space available for lease…
