HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Cities and organizations across Alabama are getting special funding to help those dealing with homelessness and domestic violence. A total of $2.7 million dollars has been distributed, with North Alabama receiving more than $1 million.
“People become homeless for a number of reasons and often it is because of circumstances beyond their control,” Gov. Ivey said. “Emergency Solutions Grants serve as a lifeline for those who are victims of violence or face situations where they lose their homes.”…
