WASHINGTON — Three Alabama sites are part of a Lockheed Martin Space contract that received a $142 million modification, the Department of Defense announced.
The California-based defense giant was awarded a $142,621,543 noncompetitive, cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and firm-fixed-price contract modification under a Foreign Military Sales case to the United Arab Emirates.
The total value of the contract increased to $876,747,896, according to a DoD news release. Under the modification, the contractor will provide continued maintenance and sustainment support for two Terminal High Altitude Area Defense batteries for UAE, the release said…
