HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Would you like to work for the City of Huntsville? Applications are now open for its 2026 Summer Intern Program, with a deadline of January 6, 2026. The program is available to individuals 19 years or older, with a high school diploma or GED and is open to current students or recent graduates from accredited colleges and universities.
Applications will be accepted through 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5. The eight-week program will choose up to 10 interns working part-time and earning $12.76 per hour. Interns could work up to 29 hours per week, depending on each department’s needs.
Internships are available in a variety of City departments, including:
- Administration (Communication)
- Information Technology Systems (ITS)
