LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam targeting families of people who have recently been incarcerated.
In recent reports, scammers have called or messaged loved ones claiming that payment is required for supposed jail-related fees, including bail processing, GPS monitoring, or drug rehabilitation programs.
