Huntsville activists protest ICE tactics, urge end to ‘violence’

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Several people gathered outside Huntsville City Hall Wednesday evening to voice their concerns about immigration enforcement practices in what organizers called an emergency vigil.

The group assembled in front of City Hall, calling for an end to what they described as ICE-related violence and standing in solidarity with those affected by immigration enforcement actions. Some attendees carried signs with expletives, prompting news crews to relocate down the road during portions of the demonstration.
