HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Hartselle police chief Alan McDearmond spoke out Saturday night after one of the city’s best-known cases in recent memory entered the national spotlight by being featured on CBS’s 48 Hours.
The episode “The Gaslighting of Hannah Pettey” looked at the case of young mother Hannah Pettey, who became gravely ill after her husband, chiropractor Brian Mann, tried to poison her with lead from a construction project in 2021.
