HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Music Hall of Fame has announced songwriter Jim McBride has died.
McBride was likely best known for his work with country music legend Alan Jackson, writing hits such as “Chattahoochee” and “Chasing that Neon Rainbow.”
On top of his work with Jackson, McBride also wrote songs for Johnny Cash, George Jones, Reba McEntire, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Charley Pride, Kris Kristofferson, Randy Travis, Brenda Lee, Jerry Lee Lewis, Toby Keith, Dwight Yoakam, and many more…
