A new Madison County lawsuit makes jaw-dropping allegations against a Huntsville physician and two healthcare businesses, including claims that two female employees were repeatedly required to shave the doctor’s thighs and calves, and that they were later fired by text after trying to stop being alone with him at the office.
The complaint, filed by plaintiffs identified as Jane Doe and Mary May, names Edward Witt, D.O., ARC Healthcare LLC and QC Kinetix LLC as defendants. The lawsuit describes claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and states the plaintiffs have filed EEOC charges and intend to amend the complaint once right-to-sue letters are issued, along with multiple Alabama common law claims, including invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and wantonness.
According to the complaint, Doe was jointly employed by QC Kinetix and ARC Healthcare and later worked exclusively for ARC Healthcare, while May worked for ARC Healthcare, and both women worked under the supervision of Witt, who is described as the owner and managing physician of ARC Healthcare and a supervising physician associated with QC Kinetix clinics in the Huntsville area…
