LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — The Alabama Department of Corrections has settled a lawsuit with an inmate who alleged that prison officials failed to deliver adequate medical attention for his toe, resulting in amputations to parts of his feet.
The terms of the settlement between Joseph Allen Renney and the ADOC were confidential. according to a news release published on Wednesday by the National Police Accountability Project, who represented Renney in his lawsuit.
