HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A longtime Huntsville emergency responder and community leader has passed away.
Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI) announced the death of Anthony “Tony” Ceci, a paramedic who spent more than 35 years with the agency. According to HEMSI, Ceci died unexpectedly on the morning of Jan. 15.
Ceci most recently worked at HEMSI’s facility supporting NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, where he served as both a paramedic and the manager of the center’s automated external defibrillator program.
