After life-changing surgery, Hartselle girl works toward walking and playing again

Six-year-old Whitley Miller of Hartselle has a big year ahead of her.

Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age 2, Whitley underwent a complex surgery called selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) on Jan. 12 to improve her mobility.
