HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Trinity United Methodist Church leaders have announced new security measures for their child development center.
In a letter sent to parents on Monday, they wrote that the following measures would be in place when students return on Wednesday:
- A police presence outside the school, arranged thoughtfully to provide protection without creating fear or intimidation for children.
- An increased student-to-teacher ratio, with a goal of three teachers present at all times and no fewer than two teachers at any time.
- All classrooms relocated to the front main hallway to enhance visibility and access.
- A dedicated floater walking the halls throughout the day, providing additional supervision and support.
Please know that we are praying for your and your families, and we are here to suport you in any way we can. If you questions or concerns, do not hesistate to reach out at any time.
