DECATUR, Ala. — With cold temperatures returning to the Tennessee Valley, Decatur Utilities says it is prepared to help customers in need, while a local organization is opening as a warming center for people seeking relief from the cold.
Utility officials urged residents to limit time outdoors and take precautions if travel is necessary.
“If you don’t have to be outside in this cold, don’t go out. If you do go out, make sure your clothed appropriately.
