One more bitterly cold day today before temperatures briefly rise ahead of a midweek cold front.
Another chilly day is expected for the Tennessee Valley, despite all the sunshine we will be seeing. Highs will be warmer than yesterday, reaching the low to mid 30s, but with the wind chill it will feel like the upper 20s at our warmest. Overnight lows will be a bit warmer as well, settling into the low 20s.
Warmer conditions are expected for Groundhog Day tomorrow through Tuesday, with highs climbing into the upper 40s and low to mid 50s. By Tuesday afternoon, we will start to see our next round of rain move in, associated with a cold front that will drop our highs back into the 40s on both Wednesday and Thursday…
