HPD to add electronic storage detection canine

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Huntsville police will have a new set of paws helping them investigate child sex abuse cases.

Sergeant Chris Jackson, spokesperson for HPD, said the dogs are trained to find electronic storage devices when officers arrive to an accused predator’s home with a warrant.

Jackson said the dog will help officers find more evidence in the cases efficiently…
