HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Snapchat video served as key evidence in the murder trial of Colt Carroll, with prosecutors saying it places him at the scene of Faleisha Thompson’s death while she was still alive.
Prosecutors told jurors the video shows Carroll at the scene of Thompson’s murder on Oct. 15, 2023. Thompson’s body was found just after midnight on October 16. Two women testified they saw Carroll with Thompson’s motionless body in a ditch when they drove by later that evening on J. W. Darnell road.
Jurors viewed photographs taken after Carroll’s arrest that showed his face, hands and truck covered in dried blood and mud. They also saw photo evidence from law enforcement showing Thompson’s body badly bruised, beaten, covered in blood and fully unclothed…
