The murder trial for the former Decatur police officer charged with killing Steve Perkins in 2023 has been pushed back again to September 2026.
The trial has been pushed back multiple times. Before the latest move, it was supposed to be in June. However, Mac Bailey Marquette’s lawyer plans to be out of the country at that time.
As a result, Marquette will now stand trial on Sept. 21, according to newly filed court documents…
