HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville music icon Dave Gallaher, best known as Microwave Dave, has died at the age of 80.
The Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation announced on Saturday morning that Gallaher died on Friday.
Gallaher was set to do a solo act at The Nook in Huntsville on Thursday night, but canceled it due to what he called a “bug.” He also had a solo appearance scheduled for Sunday at Open Bottle in Madison…
