HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Alabama State University’s women’s bowling team closed out competition at the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Roundup 2 with a second-place team finish, posting a 6-4 overall record across 24 total games (traditional format) at the event hosted by Alabama A&M University.

On the second day of competition, Alabama State continued its steady performance, closing the tournament with key wins that solidified its position in the top half of the standings. The Hornets posted victories over Prairie View A&M (883–764), Florida A&M (955–820), Grambling State (862–508) and Alabama A&M (982–875), while dropping contests to Jackson State and Southern on the final slate. Alabama State recorded 4-2 results on Day 2 to finish the weekend strong.
