HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Crime continues to trend downward in Huntsville, according to newly released 2025 statistics from the Huntsville Police Department, showing declines across multiple categories as the city keeps growing.
Police report violent crime dropped 18% from 2024 to 2025, while major crime fell 9%. Overall, all offenses listed in the department’s annual report decreased by 6%.
