HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) — Officials with HEMSI say a woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after being shot in Hazel Green.
HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster said the crews responded to a call of a shooting at 6 p.m. on Charity Lane in Hazel Green.

Webster said a woman was taken to Huntsville Hospital with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He said her condition was still being evaluated at 7:14 p.m.
