Alabama fugitive arrested in Mississippi by bounty hunters

ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A woman, who was wanted in Alabama, was arrested in Mississippi by licensed bounty hunters.

According to Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten, Latoya Hill, 30, was wanted by authorities in Huntsville, Alabama, on outstanding charges of failure to appear and theft by deception.

He said Hill had been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database by Alabama authorities as a wanted fugitive. The sheriff said the licensed recovery agents located and arrested Hill without incident.

She was then booked into the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Patten said Hill will remain in custody at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office pending her extradition to Alabama.
