LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested a man for drug trafficking after a year-long investigation.
LCSO said Courtney Lavon Cain was arrested recently and charged with drug trafficking after an extensive investigation.

The sheriff’s office said the arrest comes after its narcotics unit, along with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit and the FBI North Alabama Safe Streets Task Force, conducted an investigation into narcotics in Limestone County over the course of a year.
Authorities said during that investigation, a “significant” amount of methamphetamine was seized, leading to Cain’s arrest.
LCSO said the case is being presented for federal prosecution and additional arrests are anticipated…
