HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Seventy-seven dogs were seized from a home on Blue Spring Road in north Huntsville on Thursday, pushing the city’s animal shelter to crisis level 4 — meaning no kennel space remains.
The call came in over the Huntsville police scanner after a passerby reported 15 to 20 small dogs running in the roadway. Officers ultimately found more than 70 dogs inside a single residence.
