Morgan Co. man previously sentenced to 10 years in prison could face more time

MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) – A Morgan County man who was previously sentenced to 10 years in prison could face additional time after a traffic stop led to new drug charges, according to the Decatur Daily.

Morgan County deputies arrested Troy Nichols after he was pulled over for a swapped tag in Somerville. Deputies found 16 grams of methamphetamine and more than 3 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.

Nichols pleaded guilty to possession charges in December and was sentenced to 90 months…
