HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Police responded to a domestic situation on Avalon Lake Drive Saturday evening, resulting in a tragic discovery.
At around 9:20 p.m., officers arrived at the 3300 block of Avalon Lake Drive. As they investigated the scene, they heard a gunshot from inside the home.
According to HPD, when officers entered the home, they knew there were three children and a woman inside, but they didn’t know their location.
