HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A Madison County woman and an acquaintance have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder after allegedly soliciting a third party to kill her husband, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.
Kristin Slayton and Christopher Robertson, both charged with conspiracy to commit murder, were arrested following an investigation that began Feb. 17 when the intended victim, Robert Slayton, came forward with information about the alleged plot.
According to investigators, Slayton reported that an acquaintance told him his wife and Robertson had solicited that person to kill him. The alleged solicitation occurred in the 600 block of Hemlock Drive in Huntsville…
