65 dogs rescued from one Huntsville home, some still need to be adopted

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) is working to get back to “normal” capacity after recently taking in more than 75 animals at once.

Huntsville Animal Services Director John Fischer described the animals as “65 dogs, 10 cats, and two chickens.”

Fischer said HAS immediately went from “normal” capacity levels to “Crisis Level 4 Capacity” after taking in the animals.
