A power outage in the Hartselle area temporarily affected 533 members Wednesday after a truck fire occurred beneath a primary power line on Highway 31 in front of Lowe’s.
Officials with Joe Wheeler EMC said power was cut so firefighters could safely extinguish the blaze. Service was restored to all affected members within 45 minutes.
