The Huntsville International Airport announced this week that another direct flight is coming to its schedule in May, as Allegient Air will provide nonstop service from Huntsville to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).
This addition is now the second direct flight offered from Huntsville to the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
Direct flights from HSV increasing
With this week’s announcement, Huntsville-area travelers now have a second nonstop option to the Tampa Bay area. Breeze Airways operates service to Tampa International on alternate days.
The HSV-PIE route is flown on Allegiant’s 180-seat Airbus aircraft with three classes of seating available and operates twice weekly on Sundays and Thursdays…
